Our Origins:

Welcome to the Illinois Street Hockey League (ISHL), where passion for street hockey meets community spirit! Founded over six years ago, the ISHL is dedicated to providing a fun, competitive, and inclusive environment for players of all skill levels. Created in Huntley, Illinois, our league has grown steadily, embracing new players and expanding to include a variety of teams.


Our Mission:

For the ISHL, our mission is to promote the sport of street hockey while fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among players. We believe in creating a space where everyone can enjoy the game, develop their skills, and build lasting friendships. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that players from all backgrounds and abilities feel welcome and engaged.


Our Structure:

Our year features a regular season followed by thrilling playoff competitions. Each season, we implement new rules and enhancements, such as the recent introduction of a mercy rule to maintain a fair and enjoyable playing experience. Our draft system allows for balanced teams, encouraging teamwork and fair competition.
